Блохи отличаются большой плодовитостью, поэтому обработка квартиры от блох представляет собой весьма трудоемкую работу. Перед ее началом необходимо определиться с местами, где блох обитает больше всего. Как правило, блохи предпочитают селиться на высоте не более 1,5м от пола. Обычно они живут на кроватях, в коврах, мягких игрушках.

Подготовка помещений к обработке

Перед обработкой квартиры от блох необходимо тщательно упаковать все продукты питания, произвести влажную уборку и пропылесосить все ворсистые поверхности (пылесос также нужно будет обработать средством для дезинсекции). Кроме того, нужно перестирать все теплые вещи, мягкие игрушки и тканевые изделия. Одеяла и матрасы обработать паром и вывесить на улице. Если есть домашние питомцы, то нужно одеть на них специальные ошейники.

Обработка квартиры

Блоха в квартиреДля уничтожения блох подойдет практически любой препарат для дезинсекции, который имеет пометку «против ползающих насекомых». Наиболее распространенным является «Дихлофос». Примерный расход аэрозольного средства составляет 1 баллон на 10 м².

Более эффективными и безопасными, но при этом более дорогостоящими являются микрогранулированные профессиональные средства, например, «Эффектив Ультра», «Синузан», «Биорин», «Хлорпиримарк» или «Эмпайр». Эти препараты реализуются исключительно в объемных упаковках.

Обрабатывать необходимо всю квартиру, стараясь не пропустить ни одной щели. При использовании аэрозольных средств работать нужно в респираторе. После окончания обработки квартиру нужно покинуть на 2-3 часа, а затем хорошо ее проветрить, тщательно протереть все рабочие поверхности.

Все существующие средства для дезинсекции уничтожают только взрослых насекомых и не воздействуют на отложенные яйца. В течение нескольких дней не рекомендуется делать влажную уборку. Примерно через неделю после обработки из яиц появится следующая партия блох, поэтому рекомендуется произвести повторную обработку.

Народные средства от блох

Издревле для изгнания блох применяли настои эвкалипта, пижмы, полыни и мяты. Блохам не нравятся резкие запахи этих трав, и они покидают помещение. Также эффективным способом считается обработка помещения смесью пивных дрожжей и чеснока.

Еще одним «бабушкиным» методом против блох являются ветки полыни. Полынь раскидывается по всему помещению (особенно под кроватями). Блохи садятся на полынь и затем ветки выносят вместе с насекомыми и сжигают. По другой версии, блохи от запаха полыни бегут из помещения куда глаза глядят. Как бы там ни было, действует полынь эффективно, вот только не всякой хозяйке понравится наличие под кроватями посторонних предметов, а в квартире – посторонних, весьма специфичных запахов, которые источают веточки полыни.
